Cove Curation began in our founder Elisa Tseng’s own home — hosting guests like Adrian, a paramedic trainee settling in for a month, and Tanya, a German banker ending her sabbatical in Sydney. Different journeys, one lesson: guests remember how a home made them feel.
The Same Home. A Different Approach.
While Elisa was overseas, she placed the home with established property managers, experts in long-term leasing and corporate stays, with a model built for well-run city apartments at standard rates. They do it very well. But a larger, design-led home calls for something different: a stay shaped around people in life’s transitions, from travellers and returning expats to families renovating or displaced while their home is repaired. So she built that approach, combining genuine hospitality with strategic pricing, positioning and marketing.
The home went on to earn Airbnb Guest Favourite status and a place in Airbnb’s Design category, around 0.4% of listings worldwide. Today, homes in our care command nightly rates above most of Sydney’s five-star hotels, and our best performers have returned more than 50% above long-term rental.*
That approach became Cove Curation, now applied to homes across Sydney’s Lower North Shore: helping owners earn more from their homes, without giving up control.
